As director of cultural programming, I stewarded the creative integrity of cultural programming and member experience across hospitality, live events, content and design touchpoints often working with internal and external design teams and agencies to execute world-class concepts for interactive pop-ups, tentpole events, galas, art installations, performances, talks, workshops, screenings, and festivals on and offsite.Over 2 years, I have collaborated, co-created and commissioned 250+ projects with multidisciplinary creators, industry leaders and partners across a variety of scales, formats and levels of complexity as well as spearheaded the communication strategy redesign and launched new content series to showcase innovative ideas and voices within our community.From the onset, I helped define audiences, sharpened value proposition, built metrics and insights to evolve offering, established best practices for member retention increasing membership from 74% to 96% and driving acquisition at 15% MOM, as well as prototyped and launched SALON, a new membership offering aimed at an evening demographic.Overall, the efforts improved brand positioning and engagement through diverse, high-quality programming and digital and social media content, positive press &#38;amp; effective marketing strategies.

Over the course of a year, I worked with Standard Dose to transform a retail platform into a go-to destination for wellness education, community and healing products.
In response to the pandemic, we pioneered a holistic digital-first community engagement platform through diversified event programming, content and partnerships that grew new audience segments 21% month-over-month in 2020. &#38;nbsp;
50+ creators, speakers and healers joined our interactive digital event series over IG Live and Zoom. From wellness and dream coaches, scientists to artists, filmmakers and activists - Standard Dose led the conversation promoting self-care, collective liberation, holistic healing practices and elevating a diversity of voices across its platforms.
A new brand positioning strategy focused on elevating thought-leadership, brand storytelling and new partnerships, which led to a 10% lift in social media following across channels, drove email subscriptions with 20% list growth and boosted revenue 3X from April to November 2020.Through an in-depth cross-market and trend analysis, I helped identify new growth opportunities across product, category, and audience, and successfully launched brand in the UK through a strategic partnership with John Lewis.

Deepening brand value and purpose to help fight climate change, I led the creation of an actionable sustainability strategy to advance business towards climate neutral and environmentally positive practices.

In just four weeks, I led the strategic and environmental design to elevate and improve the IMAX VR Experience Centres in New York and Los Angeles. A refined creative direction transformed the space with updated messaging and signage, a new lighting system, and motion graphics. A partnership program focused on community outreach and new, multi-player experience releases led to a 22% box office increase in November 2017. 
These successful strategies coupled with new training programs were then implemented in three IMAX Centres around the world: E-Walk – NYC, Toronto Scotiabank, and Bangkok.

Levi’s set out to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love by creating an Outpost at the iconic coming together of Monterey Pop Festival. As lead programmer, I designed and programmed this bohemian oasis and tailor shop experience with customization sessions and DIY-inspired activities in the creative spirit of the 1960’s.Artist-led workshops such as natural tie-dying, button-making, and patchworking provided moments for guests to customize their wares and Levi’s apparel with their own unique touches. The Outpost saw thousands of guests each day and sales surpassed all previous Levi’s benchmarks.Peek some of the coverage in Rolling Stone.

While at Imprint Projects, I led the development of a winning creative concept and program for Pinterest’s first-ever creator conference, In the Making.

Over 250 Pinterest creators attended the daylong conference designed to celebrate and support the creator community while educating them about the platform. The festival-style event was programmed and designed to share inspiring keynote presentations and enable interactive learning through hands-on workshops on how to use Pinterest to grow creator businesses. Throughout the day, analog art activities like block printing enabled guests to engage with a diversity of creative practices and connect with each other.

For three years, curated and designed innovation summit and workshops for 150+ C-level executives across the Virgin Group to inspire transformational change across brand, culture and organizational practices. These curated and highly interactive events featured custom keynote presentations from leaders across other industries on topics such as emergent communication models, issues of sustainable and social impact, diversity and inclusion, customer experience, brand and product design, and building internal culture at scale.
I designed and produced custom interactive activities, exersizes, and tools that enabled teams to synthesize presented ideas, workshop and collaborate on appropriate strategic frameworks that could be applied to respective Virgin organizations. Furthermore, content and insights generated from these sessions were then shared with 50,000+ Virgin Group employees via an internal platform.
 Notable speakers from IDEO, The Future Laboratory, Parley for the Oceans, Refinery29, Vice, MTV, Slack, IBM, Sofar Sounds, LEGO, adidas, Framestore, Uber, Original Unverpakt, and others.

Working as senior producer and programmer at Imprint Projects, we partnered with Casper on a Sleep Symposium with a keynote by Arianna Huffington, panel discussions exploring the cultural, economic and social dimensions of sleep, as well as a presentation of Sean Monahan’s (K-Hole) white paper on “slowave”. The daylong event brought together cultural and media figures across science, entertainment, art, hospitality and design, and was rounded out with interactive activities including dream interpretations, a virtual reality journey, and dance party with St. Lucia. 

One-day live and streamed event featured an interdisciplinary program of 18 high-profile speakers and creators including comedian Reggie Watts, artist and cyborg Neil Harbisson, designer Steven Alan, chef Carlo Mirarchi, Arianna Huffington, and more. 

The event boosted brand awareness with 15K+ unique visitors to the streamed online broadcast, 300+ influencer attendees, and generated public and press buzz with 950K+ social media impressions, 70M+ media impressions, and 12 press articles.

Part of an extended community of social activists, I produced the annual Kickstarter party honoring the Wide Awakes. Hosted by Kickstarter's Head of Arts, Patton Hindle, as well as artist Hank Willis Thomas, the event brought together art world luminaries and social activists including Manushka Magloire (Wide Awakes), Justine Ludwig and Diya Vij (Creative Time), Rujeko Hockley (Whitney Museum), Nicole Berry (Armory Show), Yvonne Force Villareal (Art Production Fund), Larry Ossei-Mensa, Fab 5 Freddy, Ben Frost, Risa Puno, and others who gathered to pay tribute to the work of abolitionists started back in 1860. The current Wide Awakes have reemerged in 2020 to fight for justice, democracy and welfare for all people. They are an open-source network who radically reimagine the future through creative collaboration.

The event took place at an experimental Brooklyn music venue - public records and featured vinyl sets by DJ Reborn and DJ Black Helmet (music moniker for artist Azikiwe Mohammed) amongst others of the Wide Awakes crew.

	Hello, and welcome.In case you were interested to learn more about my lived and professional experience:
I spent my formative years as a researcher and curator in the art world. This experience taught me to look at objects, spaces, and images as signs of underlying cultural patterns shaping the human experience. Today, I use that knowledge to frame my practice as a strategist, cultural interpreter and producer who believes that intersectional thinking enables creative innovation and builds more resilient communities. 
I craft dynamic brand narratives, creative experiences and engagement programs for art organizations and global design, fashion, hospitality and lifestyle brands. I have flexed my neural networks with disruptor tech start-ups, dipped my toes into AI and transhumanism, pondered the future of sleep and architected a brand system for the world’s first non-profit bank (launching soon!).A trusted adviser to artists, clients and partners, I have launched community engagement programs, managed integrated brand campaigns with varying degrees of complexity and created impact-driven solutions for established and emerging brands like Levi’s, Uniqlo, Casper, Pinterest, Virgin, IMAX, Dolby, Farfetch, MoMA, Art Basel, Garage Center for Contemporary Art, Artsy, NeueHouse, Soho House, Standard Dose, nate and others.I value open dialogue and have taken part in many industry panels for Fast Company Innovation Festival, CAA, Soho House, NeueHouse, National Academy of Design, ICA (London), Art World Conference, Cultured Magazine, Armory Show, Parsons School of Design and others.With an international academic background in semiotics, conceptual art and aesthetics studying under the guidance of philosopher Boris Groys, my perspective is shaped by experimental art practices, collaboration and human experience. I draw on cross-industry insights and reference a diverse range of cultural, historical, creative, and technological sources.When not tackling questions of global cultural shifts, I support emergent art practices by mentoring new media artists and entrepreneurs at New Inc and dedicate my time to advocating for the socially-engaged work of Creative Time.I practice running for meditation, cycle for gender-equality with Nightcap Brooklyn, and help the other kinds of cultures grow in my Brooklyn kitchen-laboratory.Some things I am currently contemplating:+ the possibility and emotional toll of a future where death has been cured;+ what AI dolls could be longing for;+ the advancement of a new metaverse, an always-online, persistent, spatial ‘second’ world, and how artists are ushering the way of new Web3 experience.
